Advanced Factories, world reference fair in innovation and industry 4.0, has taken place this year in Barcelona from 18 to 20 April, where all the latest trends in technological innovation for industry have been shown.
María González Armero, Manager of RedBOND Composites, a reference factory in Optimisation and Digitisation, participated in the event on 19 April in the main auditorium with full capacity, as a success story in the implementation of the continuous improvement system and its digitisation. Specifically in a round table organised by the renowned international consultancy SGS Productivity under the title “Continuous improvement and digitisation in the management strategy of the company”, accompanied by Miriam González, Operations Excellence Lead at Radisson Hotel Group; Alba Serra, General Manager of Làctia Agroalimentària; and Sylvia Chezeau, Deputy General Manager and Operations Manager at Platos Tradicionales.
“The main benefit of implementing the continuous improvement system is to make life and work in the factory easier. It provides more information on the production processes so that they can be analysed and significantly improve efficiency, and it also provides a lot of communication within the company so that the whole team is informed, involved and motivated towards continuous improvement,” said the RedBOND Manager, also highlighting the importance of flexibility in reacting and adapting to the different challenges we face every year.
