The Mayor was accompanied by the General Coordinator of Municipal Management, Asunción Martínez García, and the Councillor for Employment, Mª Carmen de España.
The authorities were welcomed by the President of Grupo Alibérico, Clemente González Soler, and the Manager of RedBOND, María González Armero.
The visit included a tour of the factory and the new expansion of its facilities, which enhances the company’s logistical and export capabilities.
RedBOND, the Grupo Aliberico company specialised in the manufacture of aluminium composite panels for digital printing and visual communication, welcomed today the visit of the Mayor of Alicante, Luis Barcala, accompanied by the General Coordinator of Municipal Management, Asunción Martínez García, and the Councillor for Employment, Mª Carmen de España.
During the visit to the industrial plant, municipal authorities were received by the President of Grupo Alibérico, Clemente González Soler, and the Manager of RedBOND, María González Armero. The visit began with a company presentation highlighting its innovative activities and its environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) commitment through aluminium transformation.
One of the highlights of the visit was the company’s efforts in sustainability over the past years. Just a month ago, RedBOND became the first European manufacturer in its sector to achieve Carbon Neutral certification, practically meaning zero net CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
Additionally, the significant contribution of the industry to stable and quality employment was emphasized, exemplified by RedBOND, whose entire workforce is comprised of employees with permanent contracts. During the tour, authorities had the opportunity to learn about the two continuous production lines of panels designed with own technology and the new expansion project undertaken by RedBOND to establish a new warehouse, enhancing both its activity and logistical capacity.
Luis Mascaró Capdevila, President of the Board of Directors of EGM Aguamarga and the Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs of Alicante (FEMPA), and Vicente J. Seguí Picó, Vice President of the Federation of Business Parks of the Valencian Community (FEPEVAL), also attended RedBOND’s visit, coinciding with the ratification of the constitution of the promoting committee for the Management and Modernization Entity (EGM) of the Aguamarga Industrial Area. This entity aims to increase the attractiveness of this industrial zone to boost business investment, intending to improve functionality and sustainability to increase its economic and social impact.
