The UAPO (Oncology Patient Support Unit), a national non-profit foundation, continues to grow and open new branches. UAPO is currently present in Granada, Málaga, and Madrid, and this September, it will open the doors to its new headquarters in Elche, Alicante. The UAPO helps more than 500 people a week affected by cancer, and thanks to its multidisciplinary approach, a pioneering model in Spain, all patients receive comprehensive and free treatment, supported by a dedicated team of physiotherapists, nutritionists, psychologists, and physical trainers, among others.
As part of its social commitment to increasing its positive impact in the region, RedBOND Composites has chosen to contribute and support the project by donating its own materials, which have been used to create new corporate signage for the new Alicante headquarters. Thanks to this contribution of RedBOND panels, manufactured just a few kilometers from the new place, the foundation will benefit from a renewed, modern, and welcoming image that will reflect UAPO’s mission: to provide comprehensive and free treatment to oncology patients.
The UAPO foundation is the first unit of comprehensive treatment for cancer patients, a pioneer and reference both nationally and internationally. Its focus is on ensuring that all patients receive treatment for free, based on the four pillars of integrative oncology: nutrition, physiotherapy, psychology, and physical preparation, all offered within the same center. The inauguration of the new branch in Elche will mark a milestone in UAPO’s expansion, reaffirming its leadership and commitment to the health and well-being of oncology patients.
